Indian markets close lower

Indian market closed lower Thursday for the seventh consecutive session mainly due to losses by banking oil and metals stocks.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25979.60, 262.78 points or 1 percent compared to its previous close at 26,242.38. Endit
