The following are highlights of leading Nigerian media outlets on Thursday.
- The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved the Ministry of Finance Whistleblowing Program that may see individuals, who volunteers credible information on stolen or concealed funds, smiling home with between 2.5 percent and 5 percent of the funds when recovered. (The Punch)
- The 30 billion U.S. dollars loan request by President Muhammadu Buhari is pending in the House of Representatives, Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly, Senator Ita Enang has said.
Responding to questions from newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja, Enang said "remember that this 30 billion dollars request was not what was to be spent in 2016, 2017 or 2018.
