Chinese shares open mixed Thursday

Chinese stocks opened mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.17 percent to open at 3,132.16 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component index opened 0.03 percent lower at 10,310.72 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.07 percent to open at 1,993.04 points. Endi
