Spanish stock market falls 0.38 pct, closes at 9,371 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.38 percent on Wednesday to close at 9,371.70 points, down from the 9,407.90 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday's session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 5.82 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Telefonica, Acerinox, Bankia and Repsol that lost 1.30 percent, 1.05 percent, 1.04 percent, 1.01 percent and 0.96 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Gamesa shares led rises climbing 2.03 percent, followed by Ferrovial, Indra A, Tecnicas Reunidas, Merlin and AENA that rose 1.50 percent, 1.02 percent, 0.94 percent, 0.78 percent and 0.76 percent,respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 106 points, down from the 114 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.32 percent. Endit
