Brazil condemns terror attacks in Jordan, Germany

The Brazilian government on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attacks unleashed in Jordan and Germany.

"By expressing its condolences and solidarity with the families of the victims, the Brazilian government reiterates its firm condemnation of all acts of terror, regardless of the motive," the The Brazilian Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement.

The attack in the Jordanian city of Karak on Sunday killed 10 people, including a Canadian tourist. The city is located about 140 kilometers south of the capital Amman, and popular with tourists for its Crusader castle.

The attack on a Berlin Christmas market resulted in the deaths of 12 people on Monday evening.

The Islamic State on Tuesday proclaimed responsibility for both attacks. Endi
