Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.56 pct Tuesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.56 percent and closed at 4,849.89 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday, up 27.12 points, with 30 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were Technip, up 2.28 percent, Arcelormittal, up 2.14 percent, and Veolia Environnement, up 2.13 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were Accor, down 1.52 percent, Danone, down 1.14 percent, and Air Liquide, down 0.85 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 0.22 percent to close at 4,822.77 points on Monday, down 10.50 points. Endit
