Belarus strongly condemns the murder of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov to Ankara, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said on Monday in a statement.

Terrorist attacks on diplomats doing everything possible to find solutions to international conflicts, peace and friendly relations among nations and peoples, can not be justified, the statement said.

The Belarusian side expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Russian ambassador who died tragically while performing his diplomatic duties, who gave a lot of effort to the process of peace and tranquility in the Middle East region.

Belarusian Foreign Minister during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov stressed that the Belarusian side firmly and uncompromisingly condemns terrorism and violence in all its manifestations. Enditem
