Three senior officials expelled from Party in E China

Three former senior officials have been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) over serious violations of discipline.

They are Gao Yuqing, former Party secretary of Shandong Academy of Governance, Li Zuoliang and Wang Xiude, former vice chairmen of the political advisory bodies of Linyi and Zibo cities respectively.

They are suspected of accepting bribes to seek benefits for others and embezzling public funds, among other violations, said the CPC Discipline Inspection Commission of Shandong Province.

They have been dismissed from their public posts and their cases have been forwarded to judicial authorities. Endi
