- Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras promised to offer Germany previous criminal data of his country, when meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin. Merkel referred to the tragedy in Freiburg that a German girl was raped and killed by a refugee, who had also committed crime in Greece.

- German Family Minister Manuela Schwesig urged harder punishment against criminal refugees, saying "those who committed serious crimes and crossed the red line have no more rights to get protection of our country."
