Real Madrid ties Kashima Antlers 1-1 at half time

YOKOHAMA, Japan, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) - Karim Benzema and Gaku Shibasaki scored for both sides as Real Madrid tied Kashima Antlers 1-1 after first half of Club World Cup final.
Benzema tapped the loose ball into the back of the net in the 9th minute after Luka Modric's shot was parried out by keeper Hitoshi Sogahata.
Kashima nearly equalized in the 11th minute, only to see Mitsuo Ogasawara's long-ranger shot off the bar.
In the 30th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo hit the free-kick into the wall and hammered the loose ball into the sky.
The Japanese side pulled level in the 45th minute, Gaku Shibasaki smashed the ball past keeper Keylor Navas and it was the first goal scored for an Asian Club in Club World Cup history. Endit
