China's first mind sports industrial base inaugurated in Hainan

China's first mind sports industrial base was inaugurated on Monday in Chengmai county, southern island province of Hainan.

The base named China Mind Sports Industrial Base is jointly developed by the administrative center of board and card games of General Administration of Sport of China, the culture and sports authority of Hainan and the county government of Chengmai.

China as a mind sports powerhouse has rich culture of board and card games, which are popular in the country. The founding of the country's first mind sports industrial base provides a platform for development of China's mind sports industry and will help promoting popularization and development of mind sports in the country, said Yang Junan, a senior official of the administrative center of board and card games of General Administration of Sport of China.
