China to take substantial steps in mixed-ownership reform

China will take substantial steps in mixed-ownership reform in the sectors of electricity, oil, natural gas, railway, civil aviation, telecommunications and military industry, said a statement issued Friday after the Central Economic Work Conference.

The three-day conference, which was concluded Friday, saw Chinese leaders and senior officials sketching out the country's guiding economic policies and priorities for the next year.

Mixed-ownership reform is where state-owned enterprises reform can make breakthroughs, said the statement. Endi
