Indonesia, Iran ink deals on energy, investment

The governments of Indonesia and Iran signed a package of agreements Wednesday on the sectors of energy, investment and judiciary.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani witnessed the signing of the deals at the Sa'dabad Palace in Iran, a statement from the Indonesian presidential office said.

The two sides also signed two agreements on judicial cooperation and extradition.

During the visit to Iran, Indonesian President Widodo was accompanied by 60 CEOs of top firms and scores of businessmen. Endit
