Tens of S.Korean troops wounded on explosion in training camp for reserve forces

About 20 South Korean troops were wounded on an explosion accident that occurred in a training camp for reserve forces in the country's southeastern city, Yonhap news agency reported on Tuesday.

The explosion occurred at about 11:47 a.m. local time in a training center for reserve forces in Ulsan city, North Gyeongsang province, injuring about 20 troops.

All of the injured were active-duty soldiers as there was no training exercise for reservists when the explosion took place.

The injured soldiers, who suffered from burn, laceration, fracture and eardrum rupture, were taken to nearby hospitals.

The reason for the explosion has yet to be identified. Endit
