Grand Finals of World Cyber Arena 2016 kicks off in China

The Grand Finals of World Cyber Arena (WCA) 2016, kicked off in Yinchuan, capital city of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Friday.

Co-hosted by the autonomous region sports bureau and Yinchuan municipal government, the grand finals attracted over 3,00 gamers from 24 countries and regions, including Canada, Russia, the United States and the hosts.

Over the next 10 days, gamers will compete in six events including DOTA 2 and Warcraft III.

The WCA 2016 grand finals will use the Olympic format with players wearing competition clothes on behalf of their respective countries, and the winners will receive the medals similar to the Olympics. Endit
