Cypriot's APOEL beat Olympiakos 2-0

Cypriot champions APOEL beat Greece' s star team Olympiakos of Piraeus 2-0 at home in a Europa League Group B return match in Nicosia on Thursday.

Olympiakos was the team which had possession of the ball for 61 per cent of the match but it was APOEL who scored once in each half.

Costa Emanuel scored APOEL's first goal in the 20th minute, with Igor de Camargo pushing in the second goal from a Nuno Morais' cross 7 minutes from time.

APOEL were the winners by 1-0 in their first encounter with Olympiakos in Piraeus.

APOEL ended on top of the Group B list with 12 points, with Olympiakos in second place with 8 points.

Both APOEL and Olympiakos qualify for the next round of the Europa League. Endit
