Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed four new ambassadors, upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature.

Zhao Yanbo was appointed ambassador to Botswana, replacing Zheng Zhuqiang.

Zheng Zhuqiang was appointed ambassador to Uganda, replacing Zhao Yali.

Yu Jinsong was appointed ambassador to Seychelles, replacing Yin Lixian.

Qiu Xuejun was appointed ambassador to Namibia, replacing Xin Shunkang. Endi
