Russian prime minister approves action plan for implementation of national cultural strategy

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved the action plan from 2016 to 2018 for the implementation of a Russian cultural strategy, according to a document published Tuesday on the Russian government's website.

The plan includes measures of expanding Russian cultural influence in foreign countries, formation of a new model of cultural policy, increasing civil society's role in cultural policy, preservation of cultural spaces and heritages, and creation of a good environment for cultural development.

The whole plan includes 193 measures.

Supervision over the implementation of the action plan is assigned to the Russian Ministry of Culture. Endi
