Magic beat Wizards 124-116

The Orlando Magic overcame John Wall's career-high 52 points here on Tuesday to beat the Washington Wizards 124-116, winning its third straight game.

Wall made 18 of 31 from the field and added eight assists. Bradley Beal finished with 19 points and Markieff Morris added 10 points for the Wizards, who have lost three of their last four games.

Seven Orlando players scored in double figures. Elfrid Payton scored 22 of his season-high 25 points in the first half, in which he went 8 for 8 from the field off the bench. Jeff Green added 20 points and Jodie Meeks had 18.

The lead went back and forth in the first quarter until the Magic took command in the second quarter, in which Orlando scored 40 points in the period en route to a 65-52 halftime edge. Orlando extended to lead to 78-58 midway through the third quarter to put the game beyond reach. Endit
