Airstrikes on rebel-held areas in the country's northwestern city of Idlib killed 25 people on Tuesday, a monitor group reported.
The airstrikes targeted several areas in the countryside of Idlib, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

BRUSSELS -- In the course of an investigation into terrorism, eight people were arrested after nine searches in Schaerbeek, Saint-Nicolas, Antwerp and Bruges, Belgian media reported Tuesday.

NEW YORK -- An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted 10 kilometers north of Reuleuet, Indonesia, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Tuesday.

CAPE TOWN -- Botched circumcision has claimed at least six lives in South Africa since the summer initiation season began three weeks ago, authorities said on Tuesday.
All the deaths were reported in Eastern Cape Province which keeps the highest death rate of botched circumcision.
