Paris CAC 40 index gains 1.00 pct on Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 1.00 percent and closed at 4,574.32 points on Monday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Monday with 36 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers on Monday were ARCELORMITTAL, up 4.91 percent, NOKIA, up 4.55 percent, and RENAULT, up 2.71 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were KLEPIERRE, down 1.14 percent, VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT, down 0.99 percent, and UNIBAIL-RODAMCO, down 0.32 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 0.70 percent to close at 4,528.82 points on Friday, down 31.79 points. Endit
