Bomb found in school southern Algeria

Algerian counter-terrorism units on Sunday dismantled a handmade bomb found at a school in the southwest province of Bechar, local media reported.

According to Ennahar TV, the bomb as discovered by the pupils in a toilet around midday, and they notified the school administration, who called the police.

The source indicated that the school was immediately evacuated, while explosives squad were deployed and safely disarmed the bomb.

Detectives have opened an investigation to find out the origin of the bomb and who placed it in that school. Endit
