Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.59 pct on Wednesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.59 percent and closed at 4,578.34 points on Wednesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Wednesday with 22 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers on Wednesday were Technip, up 5.37 percent, Total, up 2.36 percent, and Legrand, up 1.94 percent.

The three companies of which stock prices dropped most were Cap Gemini, down 1.70 percent, Unibail-Rodamco, down 1.26 percent, and Danone, down 0.87 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained by 0.91 percent to close at 4,551.46 points on Tuesday, up 41.07 points. Endit
