The UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has inscribed China's "The Twenty-Four Solar Terms" on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
This is the third inscribed element submitted by China that falls in the domain of knowledge and practices concerning nature and universe as defined in the 2003 convention.(Ethiopia-China-Solar)

CAIRO -- Kuwait's emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has reappointed the outgoing prime minister to form a new cabinet, said KUNA news agency on Wednesday.
Under Kuwait's constitution, Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Sabah should form the cabinet before December 11, when the new parliament is due to hold its inaugural session. NEW DELHI -- At least three Indian Army officers have been killed and one injured in a helicopter crash in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal Wednesday, a defense official said.
A court of inquiry has been ordered by the Indian Army into the crash. The Sukhna military base is home to Indian Army's 33 Corps and the chopper was operated by the Army Aviation Corps.(India-Army-Killing)

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- A total of 34 militants have been killed and 12 others injured during series of operations across the southern Kandahar, Helmand and Uruzgan provinces over the past 24 hours, a statement of army garrison stationed in the southern region released on Wednesday said.
