British FTSE 100 decreases 0.40 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreased by 0.40 percent, or 27.47 points, to 6,772.00 points.

Share price of ITV increased by 2.70 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Next, Barratt Developments, Micro Focus International and and Taylor Wimpey increased by 2.47 percent, 2.28 percent, 2.07 percent and 2.05 percent respectively.

Antofagasta led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.91 percent, following by Fresnillo (3.44 percent), BHP Billiton (3.03 percent), Mediclinic International (2.77 percent) and Anglo American (2.63 percent). Endit
