Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.91 pct on Tuesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.91 percent and closed at 4,551.46 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday with 32 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers on Tuesday were LVMH, up 2.80 percent, KERING, up 2.48 percent, and SOCIETE GENERALE, up 2.11 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most were Technip, down 1.54 percent, ARCELORMITTAL, down 0.58 percent, and VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT, down 0.40 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 lost by 0.88 percent to close at 4,510.39 points on Monday, down 39.88 points. Endit
