Cleveland's Love, Golden State's Durant named NBA Players of the Week

The Cleveland Cavaliers' Kevin Love and Kevin Durant from the Golden State Warriors were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week respectively on Monday.

Love helped the Cavaliers to a 3-0 week. He averaged an East-leading 30.7 points, and 9.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists. On Nov. 23, Love set an NBA record with 34 first-quarter points, the second-highest total in any quarter in league history. He had a season-high 40 points and eight rebounds in a 137-125 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Durant led the Warriors to a 4-0 week. He averaged 24.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists. On Nov. 23, Durant finished with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 149-106 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. On Nov. 26, Durant had 28 points, 10 rebounds, a career-high six blocks and five assists as the Golden State beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-102, extending its winning streak to 11 games. Endit
