The president of the Chilean Senate, Ricardo Lagos Weber, and his counterpart in the Chamber of Deputies, Osvaldo Andrade, will lead the Chilean delegation to Havana to participate in the funeral of Fidel Castro.

"After speaking with the minister of foreign affairs and with the head of protocol, a delegation will go, led by the president of the Senate, the president of the Chamber of Deputies," Lagos Weber told reporters on Sunday. (Chile-Cuba-Fidel Castro)

HOUSTON -- A man was killed and nine people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in New Orleans, the largest city in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

The 10 people were shot by gun fire at about 1:30 a.m. local time in the French Quarter, a tourist destination in New Orleans, and the man died later at a hospital, according to the city's English daily the Times-Picayune. (US-Shooting)

KATHMANDU -- A moderate earthquake of 5.6 magnitude jolted Capital City Kathmandu and the rest of other parts of Nepal at 5.20 a.m. local time on Monday, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic.

The epicentre was located in the bordering area of Solukhumbu and Ramechhap Districts in northern Nepal, the National Seismological Centre said. (Nepal-Quake)

COPENHAGEN -- Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen announced on Sunday to broaden his minority government to a tripartite coalition.
