British Foreign Secretary arrives in Pakistan for bilateral talks

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson arrived in Islamabad on Thursday on a two-day official visit for talks on bilateral and regional matters, officials said.

The British foreign secretary will hold talks with Sartaj Aziz, advisor on foreign affairs to prime minister, later the day to review security situation in the region, including the peace process in Afghanistan. During his visit, he is also expected to call on Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The British foreign secretary and the Pakistani foreign affairs adviser will speak at a joint press conference at the conclusion of their talks at the foreign ministry here. Endit
