Dollar changes hands at mid-112 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.51-53 yen compared with 112.40-50 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0543-0544 dollars and 118.63-64 yen against 1.0544-0554 dollars and 118.69-79 yen in New York late Wednesday afternoon.

The Tokyo markets were closed on Wednesday due to a national holiday. Endit
