Spanish stock market falls 0.28 pct, closes at 8,627 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.28 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,627.50 points, down from the 8,651.50 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 3.22 percent, followed by Bankia, Gas Natural, Tecnicas Reunidas, Abertis A and Enagas that fell 1.96 percent, 1.22 percent, 0.90 percent, 0.84 percent and 0.79 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Endesa shares led rises climbing 2.32 percent, followed by AENA, Mediaset, ArcelorMittal, Caixabank and Acerinox that rose 1.08 percent, 0.97 percent, 0.85 percent, 0.79 percent and 0.78 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 131 points on Wednesday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate at 1.53 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
