China and Belarus agreed to expand law enforcement cooperation when the two countries' senior officials met on Wednesday.

Law enforcement is an important component of bilateral strategic cooperation, Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, told Belarus' Interior Minister Igor Shunevich.

Belarus is willing to expand the breadth and depth of law enforcement cooperation with China, Shunevich said.

Public Security Minister Guo Shengkun held talks with Shunevich later Wednesday. Endi
