Xinhua, November 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

A national dragon boat race final is set to kick off in Lingshui, Hainan Province, on December 3, organizers said here on Tuesday.

36 teams across China are expected to compete in the two-day race. The teams will be categorized in professional and youth divisions, with race distances of 100 meters, 200 meters and 500 meters.

The preliminary games had been held for six rounds.

Lingshui was selected as the venue for the final as it enjoys good climate and site conditions, according to the organizers.
