Urgent: Latest talks on reunification of Cyprus fail to reach deal

The latest UN-mediated talks on the reunification of Cyprus, held in a resort hotel in Switzerland' s Mont Pèlerin, has concluded early Tuesday morning without reaching an expected agreement, sources with the negotiation teams said.

A tweet from Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci's office said that the Greek Cypriot side's "maximalist" positions had led to the fail of this latest talks. Enditem
