China, U.S. militaries wrap up joint disaster relief drill

Military teams from China and the United States on Friday wrapped up a joint humanitarian aid and disaster relief drill in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The drill simulated a rescue and resettlement scenario after a strong earthquake in a fictional plateau country.

Forty military officers from 24 countries observed the drill.

The drill is the fourth of its kind between China and the United States since 2013. Endi
