Spanish stock market rises 0.92 pct, closes at 8,718 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.92 percent on Thursday to close at 8,718 points, up from the 8,638.50 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday's session, Gamesa shares led rises climbing 3.09 percent, followed by AENA, Iberdrola, Ferrovial, Enagas and Viscofan that rose 2.25 percent, 2.17 percent, 1.83 percent, 1.71 percent and 1.65 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 4.47 percent, followed by Acerinox, Abertis A, ACS, Endesa and ArcelorMittal that lost 0.99 percent, 0.64 percent, 0.57 percent, 0.06 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 127 points, up from the 120 points of Wednesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.55 percent, up from the 1.52 percent of Wednesday's closing time. Endit
