Tang Jun elected Communist Party chief of Dalian

Tang Jun was elected Communist Party chief of northeast China's coastal city of Dalian at a plenum of the 12th Communist Party of China (CPC) Dalian Committee on Thursday.

Tang, born in 1962, is a native of Jianhu County, Jiangsu Province. He was appointed secretary of the CPC Dalian Committee in June 2011.

Prior to coming to Liaoning, he was vice minister of personnel. Endi
