Indonesia to face Thailand in AFF Cup in Manila

Indonesia has prepared a strategy to face Thailand in the start of the Group A action in the AFF Cup in Manila of the Philippines on Saturday, coach disclosed here on Wednesday.

Indonesia coach Alfred Riedl revealed at Pelita Harapan soccer field, "We will apply 4-4-1-1 formation during the match against Thailand."

The coach did not elaborate further.

The players had intensified exercise to smooth the implementation of the formation, he added.

Boaz Solossa will lead his soccer fellows during the upcoming match, said Riedl.

"Boaz is in a better condition now and he will be the leader of the team at the first match," he added. Endit
