Dollar trades just above 109 yen in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded just above the 109 yen line early Wednesday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar changed hands at 109.01-03 yen compared with 109.17-27 yen in New York and 108.12-14 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0723-0724 dollars and 116.90-91 yen against 1.0716-0726 dollars and 117.02-12 yen in New York and 1.0772-0773 dollars and 116.47-51 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
