Spanish stock market rises 0.22 pct, closes at 8,658 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.22 percent on Monday to close at 8,658.20 points, up from the 8,639.20 points of Friday.

On Monday's session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 5.30 percent, followed by Acerinox, Mapfre, Bankia, Caixabank and Merlin that rose 3.42 percent, 3.13 percent, 2.73 percent, 2.16 percent and 1.71 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Enagas shares led falls losing 3.48 percent, followed by AENA, R.E.C., Gamesa, Gas Natural and Abertis A that fell 3.37 percent, 3.28 percent, 2.79 percent, 1.62 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 121 points, up from the 114 points of Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.56 percent, showing no differences when compared with Friday at closing time. Endit
