China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Monday, with the contract for settlement in December 2016 closing 0.118 percent lower at 101.505 yuan (about 14.85 U.S. dollars).

The March 2017 contract closed 0.124 percent lower at 100.765 yuan. The June 2017 contract closed 0.119 percent lower at 100.42 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Enditem
