Xinhua, November 9, 2016 Adjust font size:

Ukraine is willing to deepen its cultural ties with China to promote cooperation between the two countries, Ukrainian Culture Minister Eugene Nishchuk said here on Tuesday.

Particularly, Kiev expects to strengthen the art exchanges between the parties, allowing Ukrainian people to learn more about China's rich cultural heritage, Nishchuk said during a meeting with Wu Weishan, Director of the National Art Museum of China.

Wu Weishan proposed to hold a series of workshops of Ukrainian artists in China and Chinese artists in Ukraine to help the people of the two countries to better understand cultural features of each other.

"I hope that we can arrange exhibitions at the National Art Museums of Ukraine and China," Wu said. Endit
