Shenzhen Int'l Industrial Design Fair focuses on innovation

An international fair on industrial design opened in Shenzhen on Sunday, showcasing technical innovation and industrial transformation.

Themed "design -- connecting all possibilities," the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair 2016 has 6,000 design works from 30 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Italy and Canada.

More than 230 international designers attended the fair, which has an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, with international designs accounting for 75 percent of the fair's designs.

The newest design and technologies in intelligent hardware, wearables, robots, drones, virtual reality and smart living are among the major fields to attend.

Supported by the Shenzhen government, the three-day event is organized by the Shenzhen Industrial Design Association. Endi
