Vietnam confiscates large amount of smuggled military guns

Xinhua, November 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

Customs officers of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City have confiscated a large amount of military guns illegally transported by air from Czech, local media reported Thursday.

The guns, which belong to the Vietnamese list of forbidden goods, were detected by customs officers of the city-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport, daily newspaper Thanh Nien (Young People) reported.

In July 2015, the airport's customs officers and relevant agencies spotted 94 military handguns and 472 cartridge-clips in cargoes transported from a Turkish flight to the city. Enditem
