Sudan hails China's resolve in uprooting corruption

A Sudanese political expert has hailed the CPC plenum outcomes as a turning point not only for China, but for the entire world as well, for its roles in charting course for sound and healthy development.
"The outcomes of the sixth plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee are likely to have a great influence on the entire world," Dr. Mohamed Hassan Saeed, a Sudanese professor of political relations and expert in Asian affairs, told Xinhua in an exclusive interview Monday.
"The CPC (Communist Party of China) has proved to the world its real willingness to make political and economic reforms via upholding the values of democracy, anti-corruption, strict governance and reactivation of supervision institutions," he added.
Saeed further said that the CPC plenum outcomes about democracy and anti-corruption are most important.
"The plenum outcomes regarded intra-Party democracy as vital to the construction of CPC, and fundamental to a positive, healthy internal political environment," he noted.
Saeed went on saying "these outcomes reflect the CPC's belief in the importance of the democratic exercise within the party structures, a vital matter that is likely to pump new blood into the party's arteries and avail the opportunity for its members to better perform their responsibilities.
Saeed also commended the CPC's stress on anti-corruption and strict discipline within the party.
He added that "during the past years, the whole world has been following what the CPC has been doing to uproot corruption phenomenon through establishment of supervision institutions and enactment of relating legislations with zero tolerance with any case of corruption."
"Once again, the CPC proves that it is a party the depends on principles of accountability and the rule of law as major principles in the face of corruption phenomenon, while the party regulations affirm that nobody is above the law."
Saeed reiterated that the CPC plenum outcomes represent a model for all the world's political parties to follow suit.
"We need the experience of the Communist Party of China in Sudan to ensure a mature political life that is based on principles of democracy and the rule of law, integrity, anti-corruption, strict governance and strict supervision," said Saeed. Endit
