Xinhua, October 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Spanish economy grew by 0.7 percent in the third quarter of the year, compared to the second quarter, according to advanced data published on Friday by Spain's Statistical Office (INE).

This figure is 0.1 percent lower than that of the fourth quarter of 2015, and the first and second quarter in 2016 when the Spanish economy grew by 0.8 percent.

If this data is confirmed, the Spanish economy has been growing for 12 quarters since the third quarter in 2013, when it grew by 0.1 percent.

Meanwhile, the INE said the Spanish economy grew by 3.2 percent in the third quarter year-on-year.

The INE will confirm this data on Nov. 24, when it will provide more information on the country's growth. Endit
