Spanish stock market rises 0.26 pct, closes at 9,197 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.26 percent on Thursday to close at 9,197.20 points, up from the 9,173.30 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Bankia shares led rises climbing 2.90 percent, followed by BBVA, Banco Sabadell, Banco Santander, Banco Popular and AENA that rose 2.80 percent, 2.25 percent, 1.79 percent, 1.75 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Ferrovial shares led falls losing 3.36 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, IAG, Acerinox, Indra A and Gamesa that lost 3.03 percent, 3.02 percent, 2.44 percent, 1.74 percent and 1.61 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 105 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.14 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Wednesday closing time. Endit
