Seoul shares end higher

Seoul shares ended higher on Thursday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 10.23 points, or 0.51 percent, to settle at 2,024.12. Trading volume stood at 280.45 million shares worth 4.49 trillion won (3.95 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,142.5 won against the greenback, down 8.5 won from the previous close. Endit
