Dollar trades in mid-104 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-104 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday morning, largely unchanged from levels seen in New York overnight.

As markets opened, the dollar was quoted at 104.58-59 yen compared with 104.43-53 yen in New York and 104.17-19 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0908-0908 dollars and 114.06-08 yen against 1.0903-0913 dollars and 113.90-114.00 yen in New York and 1.0917-0918 dollars and 113.72-76 yen in late trade on Wednesday afternoon. Endit
