British FTSE 100 decreases 0.85 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreases by 0.85 percent, or 59.55 points, to 6,958.09 points.

Share price of International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 5.20 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Marks & Spencer Group, easyjet, Tesco and Barratt Developments increased by 2.36 percent, 2.05 percent, 1.62 percent and 1.47 percent respectively.

Whitbread led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.62 percent, following by Antofagasta (3.24 percent), British American Tobacco (2.87 percent), Micro Focus International (2.58 percent) and Johnson Matthey (2.43 percent). Endit
